Hello #austriches , this is a bit of a long shot: my sister and two kids have had the house they’ve been renting for 7 years sold from underneath them. They have 6 weeks to move out as of today. She has applied for 16 houses in the last 2 months with no success despite a perfect rental record and ‘help’ from her current agents. Landlords apparently don’t want single-parent families even with perfect references from landlords, agents and employees. If anyone knows of any leads in Ballarat (Victoria) I would appreciate it no end, thank you!

I decided to treat myself today with a sauna session. 60 minutes in a 60C infrared sauna to try and rest and relax after a tough few months. Might need to do the same each week; may be a New Year’s resolution for me.

I will be doing my Father’s eulogy on Monday. I am generally a reasonably emotionally level bloke, but this is obviously a pretty awful situation that I am struggling with. Does anyone have any tips to get me through this reading and to ensure the mourners aren’t treated to an unintelligible, non-coherent reading?
