this is the video that triggered my young adult brain to switch from binary thinking to nuanced thinking. I was 21 when I saw it. I don't have idols, but one very influential person in my development towards adulthood was Hans Rosling.

I gave up Ethereum when it became cheaper to send a friend my secret phrase than pay for gas fees. Eventually they switched to Proof of Stake but it was a tad bit too late for some of us.

I left Twitter because a lot of crypto-bros with followers in the hundreds of K still don't know you don't have "coins" in your wallet, just a private key proving what amount of the BTC ledger you're allowed to spend, all this while promoting shitcoins and decentralized tech they do not understand, while playing with the FOMO or FUD their influence generates.
