There’s a new kind of warfare I call “vibe warring”, where you fully give in to the vibes, embrace escalation, and forget that the civilians even exist. It’s possible because the AI targeting systems (e.g. Palantir w/ drone feeds) are getting too good. Also Trump just talks to the Pentagon with Truth Social posts so he barely even touches the briefing papers. He asks for the dumbest things like “bomb that thing next to the other thing in Iran” because he’s too lazy to find it on a map. He “Authorize All” always, he doesn’t read the intelligence briefs anymore. When he gets casualty reports he just forwards them to Fox News with no comment, usually that buries it. The conflict grows beyond his usual comprehension — he’d have to really read through it for a while. When Congress asks questions he just copy pastes “national security” with no comment, usually that shuts them up

seems inevitable that the distillation attacks we're seeing from the chinese open weight cos against american labs like anthropic & gemini will be used as justification to restrict access to frontier models via KYC, only available through first party apis/tools etc. maybe even ban use of open weight models deemed to be trained on stolen IP (lol) if you believe this then we're kinda in a golden age of access and low-permission building with this stuff. have fun while you can
