I wrote a script to get UTC time for each blockheight and then plotted monthly stale block counts from historical data. Over the last 6 years (2018-2023), we had an average of just 2.08 stale blocks per month observed in this dataset.

Safu ninja/DIY solutions are easily adaptable to m-of-n solutions. To this end: SeedSigner is overhyped and over-recommended. Using off the shelf hardware is great. Encouraging people to keep a QR code of their seed at home is not great. I don't see where SeedSigner fits into a well architected cold-warm-hot storage system. I don't like to focus on negative aspects of projects, I'd much rather hype alternatives that get me excited, but in this case I continuously get the impression that people misunderstand the risk/benefit profiles and the record needs to be corrected
