I believe we only need a formal moral codes in granted through religion, state or other collectivized groups when our base layer is corrupt. Humanity is the technological singularity. I believe we became the singularity with the use of money. Before which all innovation was individualistic. After it became civilization building.

The world massively under estimates how much humanity needs leisure time. When we have time for boredom we innovate, tinker and play. we can explore. Inflation acts as the keystone for a ever growing damn holding back our collective innovation. If we find a way to remove the keystone it will collapse. A flood of unexplored ideas will sweep across all fields leading to an explosion of productivity that we've never seen before. Innovation is not linear it compounds.
