Added my NAT masquerading rule to my fail-over router. Using interface lists so that it triggers this rule on the forwarding chain whenever a packet egresses out of an interface present in the interface list. Using interface lists means I need not add multiple rules when adding new upstream networks, rather I just update the interface list itself. #networking #NAT #IP

Eu estou a configurar um novo dispositivo como o meu router IPv4. O uso sera a funcionar como um router "falha-sobre" com uma liga primaria e uma ou mais ligas secundarias ao Internet (IPv4). Todo deste sendo feito com um unico switch e VLANs (com a funcionalidade MVRP - para fazendo a adicao de novas VLANs facil). Eu anunciarei um artigo nuns poucos dias, ocupado agora com escrevendo assim. (Tambem, a minha rede principal de computadores e IPv6, apoiada por um WireGuard tunnel, portanto numa situacao onde a liga primaria falha, depois sim - conexoes IPv4 falharao MAS a conexao IPv6 continuara - talvez com uma caia temporaria ligeira de conexao) #ip #routing #networking
