Last week I tried Claude for coding with Opus 4.6 for the first time and I’ve been completely blown away ever since. I’m gonna build myself a full local AI setup now, run local models and just see what’s actually possible. How do you guys handle it? Do you only use AI as a chatbot? What have you automated so far? What tools have you already built yourself? What stack do you use for that?

Ich werde mir jetzt eine lokale KI Infrastruktur aufbauen, lokale Modelle laufen und schauen was alles möglich ist. Wie macht ihr das? Nutzt ihr KI nur als Chatbot? Was habt ihr automatisiert? Gerade in #Düsseldorf bei nem Kiosk gewesen und an der Kasse nen #Einundzwanzig Sticker und nen Study Bitcoin Sticker gesehen. Natürlich direkt gefragt, ob man hier mit Sats zahlen? - Mit was? - ah, ok. Ich meine mit #Bitcoin - wieso? - naja, ihr habt da halt 2 Sticker an der Kasse - boah, keine Ahnung. Muss ich meinen Bruder fragen - ja mach das mal, wäre geil - ok, dann sammeln wir Bitcoins und werden reich - naja, auf jeden Fall besser, als Euro sammeln. War nen geiles Gespräch. Bald geh ich da wieder hin und frage nochmals. Und vielleicht liest ja auch der #Pleb, der geklebt hat diesen Post und freut sich nen bisschen. 🫡

Serious question. I’m just a simple pleb who wants to broadcast my transactions through my own node. All this drama around Core 30 / Knots is a bit over my head, and I don’t really feel the need to dig into it in detail. Can’t I just keep running version 28.x and wait it out? I’m incredibly grateful that I found Bitcoin. Bitcoin gives me inner peace. I’ve always been interested in the stock market and in technology. I didn’t buy the very first iPhone back then — I got the 3Gs, because for me it was the first one that actually made sense: it allowed you to go online via mobile data. At university, I was especially interested in economics, even though I studied business administration. Bitcoin introduced me to an entirely new branch of economic thought — the Austrian School of Economics. Bitcoin also led me to a new philosophy — Stoicism. Bitcoin taught me how important decentralization, freedom of speech, and freedom as a whole truly are. I didn’t buy Bitcoin when I first read about it — that came much later. Do I regret it? Not at all. Why? Because back then it felt too complicated. I simply wasn’t ready yet. Bitcoin, to me, is simply wonderful. Thank you Satoshi!
