I'm putting together a project to be used as a fun intro to programming -- getting some hands-on coding experience is the real goal, but it is presented as a game. Started because I was asked to lead an activity on programming for the young men at church. One week down, two more weeks to have it ready. It's a big project (hoping for it to have more life beyond this specific activity), and I'm also learning a lot in the process, it's been a lot of fun so far.

I was happy to learn about recent developments in Lightning Terminal last night at Denver BitDevs - especially auto fees and auto opens. Lightning node management has fallen below the threshold of interesting/rewarding for a while. I still want to keep my node running, but I don't want to think about it. Any #pickleball players here? I love it. I'm relatively new to racquet sports - a fair bit of racquetball years ago, only played tennis a handful of times. Pickleball is great because it's accessible to beginners, but still a long road to mastery.
