I was orange pilled by a 72yo retired surgeon in 2017. I feel like this is unusual.
Has anyone else been orange pulled by someone who would not usually be thought of as a bitcoiner?

Just an anonymous pleb who has found freedom in bitcoin.
My wife has been so supportive of the Bitcoin journey. At first she was tired of hearing about it, but now she checks the price regularly and engages in some discussion about how it changes the world.
BUT, she has no idea how to use it.
SO, for her birthday next week I am going to give her a Coldcard with 1 million sats on it and she will have to work out what to do with it.
I am not sure she will be thrilled, but the incentive should help her in the long run! SURPRISE!
Satoshi needed an in-depth understanding of;
- cryptography
- coding
- economics
- finance and banking
- politics
- human behaviour and psychology
- game theory
What human has an in-depth understanding of all those topics?? Plus the foresight to understand where Bitcoin could/would go.
What if Satoshi wasn't human!
What if he/she/they was a benevolent alien who gave us Bitcoin to repair the mess we got ourselves into. Or to help us break through the Great Filter so we could join the rest of the Universe??
Hmmmm..........
Hey everyone, does anyone have any idea why Sparrow wallet would be giving me a "Failed to load paths" error message whrn I am connected to my Start9 node? It says I am connected, but it can't load my wallet history.
Remember a year or so ago when Bitcoin moved up $500 and everyone got excited. Now it seings up $5000 and thrn back down $5000 and no one blinks.
This current emotional state is where we need to be in all stages of the cycles.
Hi everyone.
I am looking for bitcoin or related book recommendations. I have been around since 2017 so have read all the staples like The Bitcoin Standard, Price of Tomorrow, 4th Turning, etc. So looking for something more current to sink my teeth into.
Can be anything of interest to a deeply down the rabbit hole maxi!
Hey @preston @ODELL and jackmallers@jack mallers
What do you think of this strategy.
I cant use the new Strike feature in my country, so thinking of converting ALL my salary and other income each week to BTC on an exchange.
Spending for bills on fiat credit card. At end of month, converting BTC to pay off CC expenses during interest free period.
Rinse and repeat to manually live on a BTC standard and take advange of the BTC CAGR vs fiat devaluation differences until there is a more automatic way to do it here.
Zero deposit and withdrawal fees for cash on my exchange and 0.5% trading fees for BTC purchases and sales..
Would love your thoughts.
