Will Bitcoin Nodes Become Too Expensive to Run? 🧐 As Bitcoin's blockchain grows @36% annually, one question looms: Will it become too costly for everyday people to run a node? image A simple analysis reveals an encouraging trend: While the blockchain size could balloon to multiple TBs by 2030, storage costs are racing downward. πŸ“‰ HDDs: $35/TB β†’ $5/TB by 2030 πŸ“‰ SSDs: $100/TB β†’ $6/TB by 2030 image This means that despite rapid data growth, the cost per GB to store Bitcoin’s ledger is on a clear downward trajectory. πŸ’‘ Decentralization remains economically viable, even as the blockchain scales. Tech innovation keeps us ahead of the curve. Nodes only becoming more accessible. image
UX tips - It would be nice to have icons of "comment, zap, like and boost" more close to each other so we don't have to stretch our thumb all the way to the extreme left or right. @primal
Can someone explain to me the business model (incentives) for developers/pwners of Primal and related clients like Amethyst to design and deliver a UX and UI at the level of twitter? I am unable to find a good solution to the problem of Jackobs Law each and every user is facing and going to face, Unless the incentives are well aligned to deliver that level of experience. Thoughts? image
