A Turkish MP on Erdogan:
“Recep Tayyip Erdoğan sometimes engages in verbal disputes with Israel, but in reality he has long worked side by side with Benjamin Netanyahu, under U.S. patronage, to establish a ‘New Middle East.’ So do not try to deceive people with flashy slogans.”

Abu Hanifa vs Atheism
it was narrated that a group of atheists once gathered around Abū Hanīfah (ra) and asked him:
“what is the proof for the existence of a Creator?”
he replied, “leave me for a moment, for my mind is preoccupied with a strange matter.”
they asked, “what is it?”
he said, “i have been told that on the Tigris there is a huge ship, filled with all kinds of wondrous goods, which goes back and forth without anyone moving it and without a captain in charge of it.”
they said to him, “are you insane?”
he asked, “why is that?”
they replied, “would any rational person believe such a thing?”
he then said to them, “then how have your minds accepted that this world, with all it contains of varieties, types, and astonishing events, and this orbiting, moving firmament, could exist without a Creator; that these events occur without one who brings them into being; and that these moving things move without a mover?”
so they turned back upon themselves in regret.

Types of Scholars (Ulama)
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (ra) says:
"The scholars are divided into three types: religious scholars, palace scholars, and populist scholars".
Religious scholar: it is one who spreads the religion of Islam and issues verdicts based on knowledge of it. It does not matter to him whether the evidences of the law agree with the whims of people or not.
Palace scholars: it is one who considers what the government wants and issues verdicts accordingly, even if that distorts the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah.
Populist scholar: it is one who considers what pleases people. If he sees people doing something, he issues verdicts to satisfy them and attempts to distort the texts of the Book and Sunnah to make them agree with the whims of the people.
Sharh Riyad al-Salihin 4/307-308
Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
The people said: Messenger of Allah , prices have shot up, so fix prices for us. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Allah is the one Who fixes prices, Who withholds, gives lavishly and provides, and I hope that when I meet Allah, none of you will have any claim on me for an injustice regarding blood or property.
Sunan Abi Dawud 3451
Hudhayfah reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Islam has eight shares: Islam is a share, salah is a share, zakat is a share, Hajj to the House is a share, fasting is a share, enjoining good is a share, forbidding evil is a share, and jihad in the way of Allah is a share. He has failed who has a share of none.”
Musnad al-Bazzār 2928
`A'isha reported God's messenger as saying, "If I wished, 'A'isha, mountains of gold would go with me. An angel whose waist was as high as the Ka'ba came to me and told me that my Lord sent me a greeting and said that if I wished I could be a prophet and a servant, or if I wished I could be a prophet and a king. I looked at Gabriel and he gave me a sign to humble myself. (In the version by Ibn 'Abbas it says that God's messenger turned to Gabriel as one asking his advice and Gabriel made a gesture with his hand indicating that he should be humble.) I then said that I would be a prophet and a servant." `A'isha said that after that God's messenger did not eat reclining, saying he would eat like a slave and sit like a slave.

Interesting 🤔

Abdullah ibn Nafi’ reported: Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, was asked about the saying of Allah Almighty, “The Most Merciful rose above the Throne,” (20:5). The man said, “How is His rising?” Malik said, “The rising is acknowledged, its modality is unknown, and asking about it is an innovation. I see you are a man who intended evil with this question.”

Ibn Abī Zayd al-Qayrawānī (386) said:
❝There was never a single Umayyad caliph who introduced an innovation (bid‘ah) into Islām.
Most of their governors and officials were Arabs.
However, when the caliphate was removed from them in the East and passed to the Abbasids, their state was established through ‘Ajam (non-Arabs), and leadership/governorship became dominated by them. Among many of their leaders, there was disbelief (kufr) and hatred toward the Arabs and the Islamic state.
As a result, they introduced events and changes in Islām that signaled the ruin of the religion.
If it were not for Allāh’s promise to His Prophet ﷺ that His religion and its people would remain dominant until the Day of Judgment, they would have destroyed Islām completely.
But instead, they only managed to weaken it and damage its foundations. However, Allāh will fulfill His promise (of preserving his religion) Inshā’Allāh.❞

[Al-Hujjah ‘Alā Tārik al-Mahajjah p. 683]
I say: Allāh has also used some of the ‘Ajam (non-Arabs) to preserve His religion and to become a thorn on the side of the people of innovation like our A’immah ‘Abdullāh bin al-Mubārak, Ishāq bin Rahawayh, ‘Abd Ar-Rahmān bin Mahdī and other than them رحمهم الله أجمعين
