After two hours I got one of my vanity keys! But not the main one I want. I ran one for a prefix and one for a suffix, but I really only want the prefix one, and it's still running.

I have two instances of the key generator open and they're both at almost 10 million and still nothing. I had GPT run the math, and apparently the probability is something like 1 in 60 million. I have no idea if that's actually true, because GPT is famously bad at math. But I'm famously worse at math than GPT is, so it's probably true.

My browser crashed so I have to start my keygen over T_T

Hopefully in the future, you can choose certain letters in your Nostr pubkey when you generate it, so you don't have to wait hours for an automated program to generate millions of them until it eventually lands on the right one.

Got rid of 75% of my follows. Added a few relays. That’s like bathing on Nostr.
