I have an old Exper netbook with: Intel Atom N455 @ 1.66 GHz 1 core / 2 threads 2 GB RAM I’m thinking about bringing it back to life with Linux. My first choice is antiX, because I want something very lightweight, but I’m curious if anyone here has a better recommendation for hardware this old. Bir süredir kendi ihtiyacım için geliştirdiğim küçük bir Windows aracı var. Adı Localhost Radar. Benim derdim aslında çok basitti. Bir şeyler geliştirirken hangi localhost portu açık kaldı, hangi portu hangi program kullanıyor, hangi komutla çalıştı diye sürekli terminale dönmek istemiyordum. Localhost Radar açık portları ve bunların arkasındaki işlemleri tek yerde gösteriyor. Executable ve command line bilgisini ayrı görebiliyorsun. İstersen hızlı tarama yapıyorsun istersen tam yenileme. Özellikle aynı anda Node, Python, Vite veya farklı yerel servislerle uğraşırken işe yarıyor. Bir port neden dolu diye uğraşmak yerine açıp bakıyorum. Localhost Radar öyle büyük bir proje değil ama benim günlük kullanımda gerçekten işime yarayan araçlardan biri oldu.

I finally got my own solo mining pool running. At first, the goal was simple: build it, connect a miner, and see if it actually works. Then it happened. We found a block. 😂 Was it economically sensible? Probably not. Was it worth building? Absolutely. There is something very satisfying about seeing a system you built actually find a real block. I’ve been meaning to clean up my GitHub and organize the projects I’ve built for quite a while. Yesterday I finally spent some time on it and uploaded the first project I felt was complete enough to share publicly: Localhost Radar. It’s a small Windows desktop tool that shows which TCP ports are listening on your machine and which processes own them. I originally built it because I wanted an easier way to find forgotten local servers and see what was actually running on localhost. It runs locally, without a cloud backend or another background service. If anyone is interested, wants to use it, or just wants to look through the code:
