#EGO #DEATH #CAPITAL
This post will be an unusual one for me on this ego-boosting social capital platform.
I want to share a short story about my favorite company name: ego death capital. The use of lowercase letters in this beautiful name is not accidental too.
ego death capital is a Bitcoin VC firm. However, this post is not about #Bitcoin (sorry, Bitcoin) or VCs (you folks are awesome too). It’s about the ego, its death, and the capital created in the process.
The firm explains:
“For a new system to thrive, to bring abundance, opportunity and accessibility, the old system must self-destruct.
For this to happen, it will require a phase of "self-surrender and transition.”
First an awakening. Then resistance to a false sense of loss. Then dissolution and deconstruction. Then exploration. And finally, enlightenment.
This is referred to as ego death.”
Beautiful, isn’t it? It is important even more. It reminds me of a quote from the TV series Bodies:
“Remember, change isn't what you seek. It’s what you fear”.
Self-surrendering is a frightening leap. It requires bravery, strength, and persistence. You can't evade it if you genuinely desire to embark on the never-ending path of self-discovery, healing your traumas, and revealing your true self (whatever that may mean) to yourself and the world. It creates an authentic milieu that fosters the world's growth more sustainably and healthily, both within and around you.
This loop of surrender and rediscovery is what we always need to create a better self, better companies, systems, and a better world.
Thankfully, this process is always on. Do we need more self-surrender and self-rediscovery? Yes, we do. Can I, and you, do more? Yes, we can.
This, my dear friends, is how we establish Love Birth Capital.

Repost to dissolve more egos and cultivate the power of #love instead of the love of power on both personal and systemic levels.
