@jack mallers dude!! Just noticed line of credit is active for me in The Netherlands! If only I could have a (digital) debit card to make payments with in stores, from the line of credit... I would almost have no more use for my bank account. If I could add a card to my NFC chip of my phone... gamechanger!
In The Netherlands... Taxpayer money was once intended for healthcare, housing, energy, infrastructure, the social system, etc. The so-called 'collective provisions'. In 2026, €41.54 billion is going toward NON-collective provisions. A family of 5 therefore pays €11,500 in 2026 (€2,300 per person) for non-collective provisions. That's nearly €1,000 per month for a family of 5. Let that sink in. 2026 breakdown: Climate policy: €6.8 billion Nitrogen policy: €15 billion Ukraine: €3.5 billion Asylum: €8 billion EU contribution: €8 billion NATO: €160 million WHO: €80 million ------------------------------------- Total: €41.54 billion
