Just read this, and this is truly sickening:
"The court in Haarlem acquitted 33-year-old Jamal T. [Asylum Seeker] from Germany in the fatal hit-and-run of 14-year-old Tamar from Marken in 2020. The Public Prosecution Service (OM) had recommended 8 weeks in prison against the man for being distracted while driving and for leaving the scene of an accident."
- Why did it take more than six years to investigate the case?
- How is this not even considered involuntary manslaughter?
- How tf can someone say, “I thought it was an animal,” flee the scene, and be acquitted?
- Why is he not even sentenced for being illegally in the Netherlands?
Btw: These are not racist remarks. I myself have an immigration story. This has nothing to do with that and everything to do with justice. We are clearly witnessing a two-tier judicial system.
