While I do not spiritually align with any particular denomination and am still seeking my own spiritual path, if pressed to rank the various Christian traditions I would cautiously place the Orthodox Church at the top, given its antiquity, traditionalism, and internal consistency. Conversely, I would unequivocally place the evangelical movement at the bottom. This American phenomenon often mimics rabbinic Judaism in a manner that I find unconvincing, producing zealous adherents who are more likely to be found in the Middle East, fighting for causes that ultimately enrich Zionists and second-rate televangelists. I would place Catholicism in the middle ground, perhaps due to socio-geographical-educational bias, or perhaps because, despite its troubled past, it has largely become a religion of peace today. Moreover, it has left us with an unparalleled artistic and literary heritage compared to other faiths.
