Husband. Father of 6. Christian.
Friday is my last day working with one of my best friends on development projects. We built some not so privacy friendly software solutions for bail bonds, commercial surety, and national pretrial criminal geo fence tracking. He's selling it all to our main client of the last 6 years and going to have time to decide what he's going to do when he grows up. I'm going to move over to the new company as the product expert, and get some w2 benefits with a pay raise. I was initially anxious about it cause I thought the work scope would be more than what I was already doing withing our small team startup. I think it will be a good move for me.
I used iPhone for about a month to test my contracts criminal tracker app. I don't know what it is about iOS, but it feels soulless and hollow. It gives me trueman show vibes.
Android smells like wd-40 and solder and feels like I'm building myself a custom flamethrower.
It's good to be back. I missed me some apks and #amethyst
Gold and silver prices increase in times of geopolitical or systemic shocks as investors sell anything perceived as volatile and speculative. They are running to metals because they are more institutionally legible, not because they are perceived as more functional. Gold and silver are “Pre-Failure Assets”. Our entire experiment here with Bitcoin is accumulating a “Post-Failure Asset”. Markets are currently pricing fear, not failure.
Good morning ☀️

Can’t even access my notifications on Nostr cause, I assume, I was added to a hell thread 😂
Had to turn off notifications, it was freezing my phone and making it unusable.
Found this gem. This guy does with the Bill of Rights what Ray Comfort does with the 10 Commandments. How to remember the American Bill of Rights in under 2 minutes.
If you really want an investment to get rich quick, consider selling all your SSD's from back when you thought running your own lightning node would be a good idea. But really, I bought this thing for $100 a while back and I go to buy my wife one for all her photos and docs and its over $250? tf...

Found a talk recently that made some good points:
Freedom of speech is a gift, but indiscriminate broadcasting is a liability. Most people don’t suffer from censorship, they suffer from a lack of discretion.
The right to speak does not imply the obligation to publish every thought. On permanent, public networks, silence is often the wiser form of self-defense.
Platforms that maximize free speech also maximize self-incrimination. The problem isn’t speech, it’s the absence of privacy awareness.

Haaaa

If true, very interesting

I played in several professional rock bands back in the day. Most of them, I was a hired hand to play keyboard, bass, or guitar. I toured with a Van Halen cover band for a season and an alternative emo rock band in North Florida. The only song I wrote that I actually played live was this one:
They usually didn’t let my soft pop inclinations anywhere close to the mic, but this one a fan favorite. This isn’t the original recording unfortunately, I lost a lot of my old stuff, but recently I had AI add what I always wanted to the background of a re-recorded track…since nobody wanted to run harmony for me. Jerks. #tunestr

Bachelor party was at a golf thing. I’ve never swung a golf club in my life and don’t think I’ll ever do it again. I did have the top score for a moment though.

Just finished 90 mini burnt basque cheesecakes for a wedding on Sunday. 😓
Puzzle Pieces based off my poem “Children: Gods Blessing”
I tested Suno by giving it the original vocal track and it added guitar and harmony while retaining/cleaning up my voice. Pretty wild.
