Finally finished reading through Mistborn era 1&2. Gosh I hope they turn these into movies eventually.

Alas, I was never very effective in debate class...

Rather than hiring a wedding photographer, bride and groom should give the attendees a chance at winning $50 for the person who takes the best picture/video of the day. They get a crap ton of pictures from random people making an effort to make free money, most will participate, out $50, saving hundreds.

In just 3 months, Nostr culture went from being hostile about the Core devs "takeover", pushed for going to alternative node presets (knots), to now calling those who run knots complete retards. Still trying to figure out how this bastion of uncensorable speech succumbs so quickly to the echo chamber effect. Is it that people here are predisposed to strong opinions loosely held? If like to understand why this keeps happening.

I created an subscription service that sends out gifts/cards to loved ones for their special day on the users behalf. Really thought it was something my base would be interested in as one of my anxiety triggers is forgetting peoples birthdays. Zero interest at all. On to the next idea...
