I've been diving into a systematic approach on the ecumenical councils and trying to understand the different perspectives between East and West even. It's clear that there was a difference in understanding about the jurisdiction and effect of the pope amongst the other patriarch's of the East, even in the early councils.
Florida tag renewal was my painful introduction into anarchy. Forced to give big brother your census information, and you get to pay them for their "service". Let's not forget that to use a debit card has a convenience fee. All these ladies behind their glass boxes will retire to become HOA presidents.

I was talking with @Jay
about this the other day over coffee.
There were different studies done in the last 20 years on how individuals process thoughts. The majority of people do not have an "inner voice" that processes ideas, but think rather in abstract pictures or feelings.
This use to bother me, as the implications would seem to indicate that the majority of people wouldn't be able to form worldviews unless given input. For example, if you only watch CNN or FoxNews, you will feed yourself that worldview without the ability to process or discern propaganda. The input your receive becomes your worldview without any friction. The theology your home church teaches is never questioned, it simply becomes your frame of reference and hermeneutic when dealing with how you understand the scriptures.
The fact is that these other modes of thinking do have built in processes to handle critical thinking, and that critical thinking doesn't come naturally to anyone of these thought processes but need to be developed universally.

My son better grow up to be a famous ventriloquist because constantly suffering through the random noises and voices will only be worth it if he sets us up in the future.
I love when politicians mention God so broadly that you can tell they are fishing for approval rather than standing on any actual conviction. It's the standing ovations that gets me though. All these independent Christian thinker homeschool parents thinking that he believes in the same god they do.
Oops, where did this pic come from..

My beautiful wife wanted to go to this homeschool convention in Florida and we are listening to Ron Desantis on homeschooling. I don't want to be here y'all....
Men looked tougher in old photos because they weren't smiling. Turns out the secret to masculinity is just lifelong discomfort and unresolved emotions.
I'm convinced that God gave us mother-in-law's to perfect us in patience and violent impulse control. All the masterfully crafted comebacks that never saw the light of day. My collection of silver stakes, garlic, and holy water left miserably unused...

Just got into the whole podcasting world and good grief there is a lot of technical stuff that goes into it. I mean, making the content is simple enough, but it's a different beast when it comes to visibility and marketing..
I'd love some recommendations. I'm about 30 episodes in, with content coming out every Tuesday and Thursday at 1pm est for the next several months.
One of my teams asked me to do voiceover work for our upcoming EQ learning program we've been building. I recorded my voice in Elevenlabs so that we could generate voice content without the hassle of rerecording. Now these jokers are using all the tokens to literally put words in my mouth ๐คฃ

In my wildest fantasies, Bitcoin doesn't exist, governments allow independent off-grid villages to flourish, and I'm just a simple farmer who never has to look at another computer screen again, simply providing food for the community.
