Have I been robbed ? The car normally charges between 23:30 - 5:30 on cheap 7p juice. The Intelligent charger can override if excess renewables and price drops. This happened today 6:00-6:30. Because I have a house battery, when the car charges (7kW) outside of "cheap o'clock" it takes 5kW from my battery & 2 from the grid. So after lunch there will be a glut of solar/wind. My battery will be replenished with "free" solar. If the battery is full I'd export to the grid for 15p Have I been robbed ?
