Designed a minimalist 3d printed phone holder and printed it on a friend’s 3d printer. It allows a phone to be propped up at an angle and, with a bit of hot glue along the bottom edge, doesn’t slide on a desk. This is the first functional 3d design I’ve created from scratch that works! I’d be happy to send you the STL for sats.

Has anyone else noticed how many pet food commercials are advertising new luxury pet food made with things other than grain and kibble? Its all the rage now! Pet food that costs as much as people food. And “made with real ingredients”. On the other hand, fast food commercials are faster, more often, and very visceral - just one or two second close-ups of people biting into processed food in this weird ecstatic way. Just seems …I dunno, interesting.

One thing that AI will not take from you is the enjoyment of doing something. AI can pop out a picture quicker than I can draw one, but I thoroughly enjoy making art. AI can summarize a book for you, but the experience of sitting down with a cup of coffee and a great book is something that humans will always have.
