Everybody should be watching Severance on Apple TV. It’s soooo good.

I listen to jack speak and I’m like yup, agree with that, agree with that, agree, agree.
And see the time and money he puts into nostr, which is very admirable.
But then see him invested in Elon’s companies, or never speaking too critically about Elon and it’s like ???
Once again, sorry if I sound like a hater, I’m just really trying to wrap my mind around this, because I don’t get it at all
Curious as to why @jack is always critical of Zuck but complementary of Elon, when they’re both doing the exact same thing (Elon, often worse, imo). Probably sounds like I’m being a hater, but I normally really admire jack….but am always very curious as to why jack stays invested in Elon, when the things Elon does often seems very contradictory to the things jack talks about and seems to find important
Evade the system by making it, and yourself, irrelevant.
new year makes me sad, just like my birthday. so much time lost.

what the fuck is going on with the world lately?
taking a moment
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Nostr: where you are free to say whatever you want without censorship but the government (your employer, the cops, your neighbor with a gun, any random troll on the internet, etc.) might show up at your front door the next day because they don’t like what you said
I am not even a tech person, and remember 20 years ago using ip addresses to see who was reading my live journal. How is it that on a protocol like nostr, where there are so many nyms, ip addresses are so easily exposed? Seems like a big deal.
Does privacy even exist anymore?
