The internet is sooo boring lately. I had this idea the other day. The concept would be that two people would pick any location in the world that is accessible to both, and then just show up there at the exact same time (🤯), and then maybe even have a face to face conversation. Think that would take off? I think it would make the internet more interesting.

Okay more existential questions that probably no one is going to answer. Do you ever feel like you have a strong connection with someone online, only to realize that practically everyone feels like they have a connection with that person, so you’re actually not really that special? I feel like this one must be a common one. Given the age of people being brands and parasocial relationships and what not.

Have you encountered “people” online that feel sooo much like bots…like they post way too frequently, they say things that sound not quite like how a normal person would talk, they seem to know a little tooo much about stuff they probably shouldn’t know about? …but then they post videos, audio, photos of themselves. What’s the explanation for that? Are they real people who use AI to help them post? Are they bots who have really good video/photo capabilities? Or are they just weird humans, no AI involved??
