I think of zapvertising as poster ads: Zaps are awesome for building brand awareness and making sure people remember your avatar and brand name. In a poster campaign, the main goal is to create a way for people to interact more with your brand and product. That’s why a lot of poster ads focus on eye-catching images.. sexy models or dope cars without getting too deep into the product details. It’s all about grabbing attention and sparking curiosity. Zapping with a short little text or emoji is just like that. But when you zap with a YouTube link, it’s like putting up a poster that lists all the specs of a new Porsche. Sure, it has useful info, but it can be a bit much and might take away from the main goal of getting people interested in the first place. CCing @walker here... curious if you converted any of these? On the flip side, I really like what @daylightco does with running the a zap poster ad you could say. They’re just zapping the shit out of plebs posts. Don’t send DMs as marketing. Even if your nostr only / bitcoin only - it’s a major turn off and immediately lets me think your product is a scam. Don’t do it.
