I've been doing the low-carb thing for two months now, ever since my doctor told me that my blood sugar was high.
Since then, I've tried to avoid foods that are high in carbs and sugar. That means no instant noodles for me.
While I'm glad about it for obvious reasons, I've started craving them again. And right now, I can't stop thinking about them.
I want some Chilimansi Pancit Canton with a hard-boiled egg and a banana on the side. And how could I forget a glass of Coke with lots of ice? Yum. π€€π€€
So far, my blood sugar has been normal. But I made a promise to myself that I'd only eat sweets or carb-heavy foods if they're truly worth itβlike my absolute favorites.
Unfortunately, Pancit Canton doesn't fall into that category. So I guess the least I can do for now is drink some water or my unsweetened acai berry juice to distract myself.
For now, I'll just have this: tea.
