Here in #Canada we are encouraged every November 11th to wear a poppy to remember those who fought and died in war for our country and our right to vote. This was the hill Don Cherry died on in his last Coach’s Corner broadcast. However, after getting into #bitcoin and realizing all wars are bankers wars, it is getting exponentially harder to take these ceremonies seriously. Going a layer even deeper, you realize that democracy is a method to gain your consent to government enslavement and false flags were created to drag us into many wars (9/11, weapons of mass destruction, Pearl Harbour). It begs the question: what is patriotism? Is it love of the land mass you live in? Love of your politicians who run the country? Love of the culture and constitution you grew up with? If so, I can no longer endorse “patriotism” for all of these have been destroyed or corrupted. Perhaps this disillusionment is extreme, but if you think voting within the system of illusion can change it, you are in for a rude awakening. As
@Jor has said in his show many times, “voting is the adult equivalent to writing a letter to Santa Claus.” But it might be worse than that. At least the post office answered my letter pretending to be Santa when I was a kid. The government doesn’t even pretend to address voters concerns anymore…only dictate to you what your concerns should be, and if you do not align you are a bad person.
