gm ☕️ i'm terrible at marketing myself. i don't like it. the work should speak for itself. it does, but to an empty room. its a skill i need to get better at. i use to do it for my company. marketed from 2008 to 2024. it was just me writing. blogging. then i stopped. didn't see value. you'd write and post and share right into the void. but it's a good skill. knowing how to sell is the skill. if you learn one thing from the red flag that is my experience, know that.

its strange. have to mentally give myself permission to let a notebook just been a notebook. and how the structure - dot grid, graph, line, plain - of the page puts a certain self restraint on its use. these lines. guardrails. shapes your thinking and use. to break that, I purposefully do something outside the form. and then, everything opens up. #notebooks #journal #writing
