I spent 7 years working on Pixelfed almost every day, and in the past 18 months we've went from 200k users to over 1 million!
Some could argue the break after FediCon to build Loops was a mistake, but the fediverse needed a solid short video platform and I didn't want to force that on Pixelfed.
Now this summer belongs to Pixelfed.

The Laravel ActivityPub package I'm currently writing for Loops brings a lot of benefits like improved test coverage, custom Activity support, modular (opt-in) features/extensions and extensive logging for debugging.
Will make it a lot easier to implement FEPs like Follower Sync, without impacting existing package users.

Yeah not worth it, we paid for Keys Please for all our guests who attended our Kickstarter party because getting home safe isn’t a joke or worth risking otherwise.
Keys Please is a taxi like service that drives your vehicle home with a licensed sober driver.
I wish they could’ve stayed longer, but I’m happy they got home safe.
Can’t wait for the next party, I’ve been so focused on my projects that I didn’t realize how much I missed my friends

I think it would be cool if Loops support Nostr and other protocols besides ActivityPub.
The monetization aspects of cryptocurrency could mean a lot to content creators on

Working to resolve issues and send out the remaining onboarding emails today.

All that being said, I look forward to resolving these issues with Meta through the Social Web Foundation.
I'd like to believe I'm wrong about my concerns, and they really could be a bunch of coincidences, at their scale, I wouldn't doubt it.
I'm driven to complete my goals of building an open source/federated FB/Meta empire with Pixelfed, Groups, Loops, Sup and a few others.
