Don't forget most of your clothes is plastic - polyester, especially outdoor, so you can fix any fraying with a lighter. Don't burn it, just go quickly around and done. My sons love my sock! I must do a pair. And then another pair immediately, because there will be a fight. There's something about my crochet/sewing/knitting, that to them feels like being hugged. I honestly didn't expect this reaction, especially our somewhat distant and always funny 5yo adores looking at my hands at work and then getting wrapped in it. Very well. It's expensive, time consuming and the quality of my work is at "somewhat experinced beginner" level, but it comforts hearts. Can't argument with that.
