Update C7 to only allow kind 9 messages in chat views by staab · Pull Request #2310 · nostr-protocol/nips

as the most important addition to the NIPs repo of year 2026.

As I promised, this is Zillion, the private messenger:

Zillion — Privacy runs deeper.

Private messaging on Nostr, protected by two keys working together. No download required.

There's just one rule: only the people who follow you will receive your messages. Caveats: it wasn't totally ready but I released it anyway. Bunkers will probably not work yet.

I heard you like private messenger apps, ahn? I hope to release a new one later today. Totally new specifications.

Why do some people want key rotation on Nostr? That's bad. Like, you DM me about secret stuff, then I rotate to a new key, then I reveal my old key for anyone to decrypt and read those messages with proof that you wrote them. Am I missing something?

NIP repo is like a bad joke: a man enters a bar... - man: hey, I propose that the world should speak only English. - guy: ok, but "in", "on" and "at" mean the same thing, please stick to one way of saying things - girl: NACK! We've been using Japanese for much longer, we should use Japanese instead

Do you really want to grow Nostr? Do your part by adding wss://relay.44billion.net to your write/read relays (atleast as write relay), it's free! Nostr needs more content diversity. You don't need to be an influencer to be featured on feeds such as the below one. Any language, any content are welcome! View quoted note →
