Kids these days play Roblox games and the clicky games pump numbers up into quadrillions and beyond. So paying a kid $1 or 100 pennies sounds like dogshit but when I zap my kids 500 sats everyday or 3,000 SATs for helping me reorganize the the attic, those numbers feel more substantial and get them excited. That's still very easy these days. When they get older and those SATs are worth quarters, then dollars...... Orange pill your kids, damnit.
