I am curious. I help people frustrated with how difficult it is to use technology. I value autonomy, self-determination, empowerment, and uplifting people were they are, as they are. Neurodivergent. Norse. Gen X

Made it to “r” in the alphabet before finally deciding to go scortched-earth on the iTunes Re-Rip Project: Capture any ratings meta-data. Delete album. Rip fresh as lossless. Add rating data back. Correct album artwork. Far less frustration this way. Yes, and by iTunes, I do mean Apple Music.

I bet there are going to be a lot of meetings at Netflix after this.

Killed my Evernote account after 15 years. I’m not recommending it for others, mind you. For myself I have to say it was critical for my work style for a long time. I haven’t needed to use it the same way, or as much. I’m trying now to work inside of the base Apple tools, which continue to improve.

Street sweeper cleaning up leaves this morning on my street in St. Paul. Things one gets to notice on a quiet day off.

I don’t know who was responsible for picking the music for the series Letterkenny, but I keep Shazam ready. It’s full of really amazing music I have never heard before. It’s kicking my ass and reminding me I am alive. Jared Keeso, if that was you? Thank you.

I have been reading analyses from the actual Left, which is different than what Democrats or Republicans would have you believe. I am here for it. I thought I had pulled myself out of bubbles. Nope. Still trying.

I am who I am. I know what I know. I’ve experienced what I have experienced. I keep everything close. Perhaps moreso, now.

Not looking forward to living my life in an even smaller box. I’ll never understand the inability to accept others as they are, or the idea that normal human ideas and actions are taboo.

It’s official. The original definition of woke was the correct one.

Well, we’re back to medication commercials with endless lists horrific of side-effects. At least the disheartening political ads seem to have receded.

I swore an oath that I am who I say I am and signed on the line. Then I voted my conscience. It is a privilege to vote and it is my responsibility as a citizen. I welcome all of you who may be new to the process and I hope you were able to vote your conscience, too.

I’m not a great gamer and not even a good gamer. But sometimes I dive in to a game. I’ve noticed a weird sort of disorienting sensation as I transition between the virtual maps/worlds I’m learning and the one that I live in. Is that just me?

Re-rip frequent occurrence: Tracks get duplicated (found a lot of incorrect track titles this way), or second or third albums with partial track listings are added. What? Every reference to that album has to be deleted. Now a second or third rip is needed so a single album is imported

Re-Ripping CDs into iTunes/Apple Music. It sucks. One imagines the tracks from the same CD would simply replace the ones already in your library when you tell the app to do that. But boy, you better check your metadata. And hope some wholigan didn’t say your album is a collection of miltiple artists

The other thing that is me causing myself pain is having the mouse on one system, but the keyboard isn’t set to connect to that machine. Hilarious. Truly funny. Every time.

UIsing a Logitech tool to move a mouse between different systems. Before that I didn’t realize how very much I depended on screen borders. I am causing myself rage on the regular because I keep moving to a display I did not intend.
