I've been playing around with cashu and I don't understand why there's so much hate. Sure it's custodial, but so are so many other wallets, and if it brings BTC adoption I dont see the issue. It also has cool features, like I can send lightning network transactions without needing to run my own node. And the fact that I don't really need Internet to receive BTC is sick. I am not some cashu glazer, I just think it's really fascinating. I get that there's flaws, things that need improvement and conflicts of ideologies, but stop being asses and just appreciate cool tech when you see it. @calle don't listen to the haters cashu is a good idea, and doesn't undermine the idea of btc, or at least from the perspective of a noob like me.

I'm so frustrated with the way penalties are in Canada. I just read about a case, which is similar to hundreds, where a man kidnapped, raped, and held a woman for ransom all while burning/torturing her, and you wanna know his sentence? 13 years! That's it? For all of those atrocities against an innocent person. Absolutely ridiculous and shameful. #frustration #canada #ontario
