There are a handful of weirdos that walk ankle deep into the Atlantic Ocean every morning. They are spread far out apart between each other to where they they are but a speckle in sight.
Some stand still for a few minutes others longer. Some are pacing back and forth in the tide.
Some are in that state for well into 45 minutes.
As for me, I need to be all the way in. If feels wasteful tonot go in. I'm facing East waiting for magic to happen while wiggles watches to the west, bc... well, she's clueless sometimes and doesn't care for the beautiful things in life.
And this was today.
It's my point of view on this note (hence forth a #poonote) that you can place the people that go to dog parks during the business hours into two buckets.
The first bucket are the dog walkers or the busy bees.
They're all about business, so....yeah, they're pretty boring to watch. Some of these dogs they're walking are expensive and rare, so I get it. Focus and don't mess up is their goal.
The second bucket are "the free spirits". The subject of this note is "the free spirits".
Comprised of some van-lifers, a few digital nomads, more than a few in similar situations as me, but from Tennessee, Kentucky. One has wife and teenagers back home while doing caring for his dad in FL. So, not quite the same situation as me, but very much rhymes like my story.
Mom, Wiggles and I have been taking the office to different dog parks in the area for about 6 months now. A good way for them to get sun and me to get some work done witouth the interruptions that typically occur when at the home office.
This second bucket of "the free spirits" I find to be quite an interesting bunch. And while that may have a tone of ego speak to it, I really find conversations with these free spirits to be interesting. Almost always.
Some are younger than me, others older, man or woman, doesn't matter. They are all living interesting lives.
Some of them have unintentionally found themselves in interesting situations.
Unintentional in the sense that I listen to one share his story and at the end of his saga, I'm like, sh!t, I wish I could do that, but to them it's like, "yeah, so that's what happened and I'm trying to fix it."
While in my mind, I'm like nah playa, don't fix this. You are fine just like this.
Dog is happy, kid & wife are healthy, you have a home, clothes, a car and you're out here working while the doggies play. You don't need to fix this. Just be brother, just be!
Sometimes we say the situation is broken because, it's not how we expected it (or things) to play out. But is the situation really broken or are you just focused on the wrong things right now.
I'm really speaking to myself about myself, I just happened to meet others that are making the same assumptions and mistakes I am making. I see it now and have a new and updated understanding of things, situations and people.

Mom had a good day. So I did too.
I got some stuffseses done, listened to some music and chopped it up with a couple other humans while out and about.
Tomorrow I'm going to produce a podcast for the first time. The goal is to have 10 produced by end of year. They will be live after the new year maybe sooner.

I've been watching clips of mainstream media news since the election.
I laugh.....hard. I just can't help it. I think what makes it funny to me is that I think some of them are serious.
But if it's any consolation I laughed when Obama won in 2008 too.
I laughed at the Dems bc they managed to convince a black dude to take the job when the GFC was in full effect and no one wanted the job. I wouldn't have wanted it, so maybe I'm projecting.
And I laughed at the republicans in 2008 bc they thought an African Muslim was going to drive the country into the ground and have a squad of wives roaming around the oval office.

I met a lady at the dog park today, she was mad at Elon for making her sick.
So how did Elon make her sick, you might ask...
He launched all those satellites over Carolina during Hurican Helene and the satellite signal gives her a sinus infection when she goes for a swimn on Tuesdays. Ok, not the Tuesday part.
But yes with all the other stuff.
That was a new one to me and she didn't look like a crazy woman.
So what's the word on this...time will tell?

Going out for an after dark run.
Jogging/running really slowly away from the house, one brother from another mother has his monstrosity of an SUV on the front lawn mooching free wifi bc he still uses a flip burner with no data.
The other brother from another mother is parked in the driveway but brought a pepperoni pizza that mom and/or pops can't eat.
On the flip side, Wiggles now stops at traffic lights until I catch up.
