The real wisdom in getting married at a younger age that no one ever speaks about IMO is that... When you get married at a younger age, you're naively oblivious to how much work actually goes into having a successful one of these things. And by the time you figure that out, you're already neck deep in, so you do what needs getting done to make sure it all works out in the end for everyone involved. Well, you hope that's how it works out. it didn't work out that way for me. But it still does in many cases for others. Pat yourself on the back if this applies to you. Well done. And to others (like myself) we have a better sense of what we need/want in our next partner. Something we rarely have a good grasp on as younger adults. #RandomThoughts

To the #NostrDads, you may notice that you begin to view your adult child as an actual adult, kind of your peer, instead of your child after they become parents. My daughter turns 29 this year & became a mom. She's a completely different person. One I've always been proud of, but different in a personal growth sort of way. Maybe relationships are like a block chain. The older the relationship, the more trust & security you feel towards it.
