With all the commotion around Phoenix going off the app store in the US, it got me thinking we should have a way to publish apps and provide a way for users to verify the release packages. Is there a NIP request for a decentralize app store? Such a store would be able to host (or point to package location) It would allow users or companies to post a notification that they have verified a release package (compile the source and compare to the release hash, and look in to the commits of the code even) Users can then make conscious decisions about released packages based on how many notifications of verification a release got.
