Should you get mobility assets that have overlap in their freedom of movement benefits (i.e. visa-free access to the same country)? I call this “visa-free redundancy” and it’s a good idea in some circumstances depending on a) how important access to that country is and b) the additional marginal cost of the redundant mobility asset to you. The reality is that most people have a list of about 7-10 countries that are very important for them to access, whether for pleasure, business or transit. Redundant access to those countries may be worth the investment of time or money. Pro tip: saying “I just need an answer to my simple question.” in an attempt to avoid paying for a lawyer’s time is a major 🚩 🚩 🚩 for lawyers worth their salt.
