GM. Peace is deflationary. That's why they need forever wars. The nature or context of war is irrelevant. They send dogshit F16's with untrained pilots, and M1 tanks into the field. Not because they think they'll win, but because it leads to the requirement for more manufacturing, more printing, and the continuation of a pyramid scheme. Same afghan, same covid, same economic crashes. Burn it all down.

Christane Lagarde hates money that's hard, Yellen hates wealth she can't tax. Between them both, from unelected posts, They pursue their useless attacks... image

NOSTR will eventually end the casual sociopathy in Bitcoin. We're not an audited "community" - our money is audited every 10 mins, but reputations have been double-spent many many times because such people can get away with it, and we, can afford it like a tax. Reputation, provable competence, identity. This is NOSTR's potential, and here for it.

Most asked question across all projects at BTC prague - "How do you make your business model sustainable?" Raises and grants are not income - they are transfusions you're not meant to rely on. Devs running businesses will cause blind spots. If the marginal cost of your product is near zero, it might not be a business. If this isnt addressed, no matter how amazing or worthy your service is, it will die.

I have an extreme love/hate relationship with conferences, but it's really about what your expectations are, and why you are going. You have the first timers, everything is new and amazing. But if you continue to visit, and don't have ongoing work, or people to meet who you need for your projects, you'll going to have a drop in the marginal utility. If the conferences are getting boring for you - take on more work and then you have new use cases that will make them more worthwhile. So much gets done in between the stalls. There's levels to this stuff!!

There is no bitcoin community. There are good people and sociopaths as much as any other clique. Judge the individual over time. No points for a bitcoin hat and Bitcoin chat. Proof of work: judge the tree by its fruits. Until we have a reputation layer - it’s a risky space because your guard is down. Stay humble!

Can't agree. Coding is just a digital method of build. Code skills are an exponentially depreciating asset. Coding is this generation's college degree. Looks good now, worthless by the time you have it. Work on the higher abstraction: building, where you code only when absolutely necessary. (The way coders use blue collar workers to assemble their IKEA furniture now). Because if you want to own something - buy it, and when you want to use something - rent it. Learn about volatility, and develop a life that is most positively exposed to future change. Don't be a dev - be LONG VOL. Develop instead: - mental toughness, - creative problem solving skills - a coherent, first principles framework of ethics. - a resilient physical environment Then you will change your world. c6ppv06e3n8oView quoted note →
