Heart goes out to any Aussie families caught up in the bushfires
Woke up this morning to the smell of smoke
And just swept ash off the back terrace
Intense start to the year

One thing I’ve noticed about Nostr
Your creativity compounds
One doesn’t always want to post
Some days you’re flat
Sad
Don’t feel like it
And others you’re pumped
Posting
Replying
Zapping
With status quo socials, the algo requires constant attention, a dirty, hungry, filthy beast of a companion
You stop posting
And it ignores you when you come back
Whereas Nostr, all your work is still there, and with no algo, it’s people you’re connected with
So when you return and are more active, they’re actually happy you’re back
They’ve got enough value previously so reply, zap, repost, and support your return
Creativity is like this
It’s not linear
It’s occasional
Driven by inspiration
You want to create when you’re ready to create
It’s my gut feel that this is an angle that will be hugely valuable to future Nostr users, you’re able to compound your social digital creativity, with a base layer of human connections in cyber space, that are kind of like the family and friends you have at your wedding, in that when you get up to make your speech nervously, they’re all cheering you on, and it’s far more fun, easy, intuitive, and inspiring than you dreaded
Plenty of work to be done
But huge potential
🙏🏻
What do you hate more:
- price dumping?
Or
- price pumping?
Truth: the more you know, the more you buy
#bitcoin
90k is a great BUY
Watch over the next 6 months as retail actually wakes up
And suddenly there are lines of people wanting in at double these numbers
Great time to stack for the man on the street
💪🏻
Building Private Messaging on Nostr - Jeff G (JWP 110)

In this episode I spoke with Jeff G, it was fascinating, and lived up to all my expectations. In a world where private messaging is still vulnerable to metadata harvesting and single‑point failures, Jeff explains how Nostr’s relay‑based architecture and true end‑to‑end encryption can finally give users control over their own conversations. He also reveals a sustainable, non‑profit model that keeps the service free from ads and corporate pressure; critical for building truly censorship‑resistant communication tools. Tune in to learn the technical breakthroughs and the roadmap that could reshape digital privacy over the next year.

I love my wife
3 reasons I remain a huge Bitcoin bull, and believe the price will run in 2026:
- 1 - the full impact of the 2024 halving will be realised
- 2 - central banks and nation states will slowly wade through their own bureaucracy and allocate to strategic reserves
- 3 - the plumbing done for a truly global financial infrastructure layer will become very evident
