No matter how many relays you redundancy save your notes to the photos aren't protected. This is because images in most clients are stored on media servers and linked to your note.
base64 pictures are protected however, because they are stored in text on your note.
Make sure you are following the correct npub. The a "verified follow" mark in the client is a very secure proof of identity verification.
