I see many people that still do not understand what is Stacker News. Many wrongfully consider it an "earning sats platform". In fact is a "marketing platform", is a "pay to post" platform and many don't know how to use it properly. Yes, you can have discussions threads like reddit or stackexchange, you can have zaps as upvotes, yes you can have territories by different subjects. You even have a jobs board! But in the end, if you know how to use it can be a powerful marketing platform. And very cheap ! But be careful... posting crap - you get the wrath; you post good stuff - you get zaps.

Hey @Open Markets Podcast can you add on your podcast webpage, under each episode a small icon for "classifieds zaps" ? The idea is why not let listeners to promote other bitcoin merchants on the podcast directly? You will have as "sponsors" directly your listeners and merchants. Let's say I found a nice place where I eat and I paid in sats. And as appreciation for that merchant I would like to promote it on your podcast. I zap 2k sats or whatever amount you set and I get an option to write a simple promotion phrase or message regarding that merchant. You then on the next episode you mention that note, is practically a paid classifieds. Of course no scams allowed and only verified information. If you receive too many classifieds, is up to you how many you are willing to use on that episode, we are not going to fill all the episode time with ads. Usually should not be more than 15-20 seconds per classified. And of course bitcoin only. What do you think? It could work?
