Bitcoin is famously predictable in monetary policy, but you don't know if a transaction will ever be mined. The fee is largely speculation. As a developer, you don't know if it will even be economically feasible to use a bitcoin transaction in a few months.. All scaling solutions, including lightning, need a first layer... 🤔
Do you know anyone working on channel factories? Are there some PoC?
Hi @ZEUS , your app is awesome 🤩 Just few things I’m missing as of now. - Open channel from another wallet - Fallback to external hw wallet - Bolt 12 Do you plan any of these? I don’t see them in the GitHub list…
## Changes in Last mile states could take place in three phases 1. Updates - UTXO owner (Alice) collects change requests from all previous recipients. 2. Notice - Alice constructs a modified `status` transaction that is shared with all recipients. It also sends them their `defense` transactions. 3. Valid - previously constructed transactions become valid. At the same time, the previous transactions stop being valid. In other words in one moment there is valid state 1. Alice is announcing state 2 and collecting updates for state 3. image
Do you know about handy library that would help with #nostr and #bitcoin keys and addresses derivations? And is this schema true? (Meaning that you could derive nsec from bitcoin seed and vice versa?) #asknostr image
Very subjective comparison of cost and security trade-off on #bitcoin on-chain, lightning, ark, Last mile, and custodial lightning.. The idea is that Last mile offers better security than custodial lightning and is cheap as that. However it has other disadvantages compared to more robust solutions. image
Is there such a thing as an inverse timelock in #bitcoin? A condition that a given transaction is only valid if it is mined before a certain block height?
What is the best alternative for Google products? Mainly mail and calendar…
Why doesn't the state dare to attack all individuals, but it does target entrepreneurs?
