Dear US federal judges: In several cases, this year, you have been presented with perjured legal documents by government lawyers. Why have none of those layers been charged with perjury? Or even contempt? Make the DOJ afraid to being bad cases and bad arguments before your court by penalizing the lawyers presenting those cases and arguments. In fact, do this across the board to or with all lawyers. I think you are all cowards for falling to exercise this aspect of your authority.

This morning I was rudely reminded that, while I'm not a US federal employee, my employment is funded by the federal government. Trump's illegal impoundment of National Science Foundation funding puts my short term financial future in jeopardy. Short term because I work in a field that currently has high demand for labor and short supply. But I like my job and don't want to look for another.
