When America outsourced manufacturing, it lost the know-how of manufacturing. When humanity outsources thinking, are we going to lose that ability ourselves? View quoted note →

Since sticking to open source apps on my phone and paid services from big tech companies, I've not seen an ad in ages. I hadn't even realized it until speaking with a normie whose online experience is defined. He mentions something, and is flooded with ads for it everywhere he goes online. I'd forgotten ads were even a thing. Advertisers probably had forgotten about me, too. This is what dying in obscurity looks like and it's beautiful.

Using #YakiHonne on iPad now that they have a proper landscape mode. This was my first client on iPhone because it had the easiest onboarding experience, and they just keep on improving.

Brits sound like Americans when they sing. To Brits, do Americans sound sing-song-y when we speak?

Sure our elites dominate toe-to-toe. But so do our poor, our huddled masses, our wretched. So longer as that fire if hope burns within us, Americans are relentless. View quoted note →

We're about to enter a currency war with the world. And we'll probably win it. If the regular Joe anywhere in the world stores their value in US stable coins, and accepts stable coins for payment, and pays in stable coins, all instead of using their local currencies, the whole world opens up to U.S. investment. Whereas before, Americans would struggle to earn a return outside of a few fast paced markets that could grow faster than their currency would weaken against the dollar, stable coins pegged to the dollars means Americans can enter fast growing economies and earn a return in dollars at the same time. The sounder money helps people. Now imagine if the world worked on #Bitcoin.

I don't understand... The way this guy is talking, comparing Israel to Nazi Germany, it sounds like there's not even a question as to whether there is any difference between the violence of the two governments. Is this clip taken out of context? View quoted note →
