To answer the question about Fountain alternatives. If you have AlbyHub you can use Castamatic, PodcastGuru, Curiocaster or Podverse.
Castamatic (ios only) just added NWC support also.
Some apps do add a small fee to the Lightning transaction but thats a way for the app devs to make some money.
