I've been complicating discipleship for too long, and I'm sure you have to. If you notice the great commission is a chiasm. A. I have all authority B. Go therfore and make disciples, baptizing. B. Teach them to obey all I commanded A. I am with you always. Our job is to fulfill parts B (Call sinners to pledge allegiance to Christ as King in baptism and teach them to obey Christ in all of life.) The power and authority to fulfill these tasks is provided in parts A (His possessing of all authority, both spiritual and physical and His presence with us.) So now the pathway for churches and Christians is clear. 1. Call all people to pledge allegiance to Christ in baptism. Then, 2. Teach them to obey Him as King in all of life. This will be the blueprint for how I lead the church from now on.

Growing increasingly weary of what's going on in Christian circles with leadership. Everywhere I look, there is divisive, drama, and sin. Beef between Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants. The Pope pulling a Joe Biden and saying some stupid crap. Steve Lawson in an "inappropriate relationship" with a woman. It's all so tiresome. But then again, we have a real enemy who is sowing all this division and confusion. I'm gonna do a better job to not contribute to this mess. I'll still stand firm on my convictions and won't shy away from making them known. However, Lord help me to be understanding and gracious with brothers who don't agree.

Diversity is not and never was our strength. Freedom is our strength. And the only freedom that is real is one built on the rock of Christ. Once the Christian worldview breaks down, diversity becomes chaos. Christ is either the unifying thread binding the nation's together, or else we descend into tribalistic madness. Diversity is the wrong focus, freedom needs to be the focus.

I generally think the sphere sovereignty framework is helpful. But where it falls short is with the state. Sphere sovereignty says there's 3 (0r 4) spheres God instituted. 1. Family 2. Church 3. State 4. Self My issue with this is that if you trace the origin of all 4 spheres, you see that all but "the state" are descriptively decreed by God for our good and the fulfillment of the dominion mandate. The state is not... The state is a judgment on man for repeatedly forsaking God and rejecting Him as King. It's origins are found in the demonic and Scripture speaks of the state in terms of being a "beast." God also says He uses the state and it's evil rulers to serve Him and His purposes, but this is not an endorsement of the state as an institution being good and Godly. My concern is that including the state in sphere sovereignty legitimizes it like it does the family, church, self. What say you?

This is why women shouldn't be cops, military, politicians or be able to vote. They aren't built for combat, their minds are different. They are built for nurturing, caring and healing. We need women to be women. I said what I said.

A guy I used to know in high school used to literally print 5 dollar bills back when Canadian money was paper. He stopped when a KFC employee smudged the ink. 🤣 Fundamentally, what is the difference between what he did and what the bank of Canada does? Why is his paper money bad, while there's is good? (Besides smudging ink) Fiat money is a scam.

There has to be a better answer than, "Just pay your taxes!" This thought echoed through my mind as I read Jesus' words once again: "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's..." I'm excited to introduce my upcoming book, Render to God: Christ's Dominion and Human Taxation. The motivation behind this work stems from my relentless refusal to accept conventional answers to difficult questions. God commands us not to steal. Does that apply to governments as well? How is it righteous for them to take your income, then tax your property? Surely, God does not condone tyrants seizing property and imprisoning those who can't pay property taxes... Yet, Jesus tells us to give to Caesar what is Caesar's. Paul instructs us to pay taxes to whom taxes are owed. Peter urges us to honor the Emperor as supreme! I couldn’t live with this tension. There had to be answers. The problem wasn't in the text—it was in my understanding of it. So, I embarked on a journey. I studied, prayed, studied, prayed, and trusted God to guide me toward clarity. At times, I was frustrated, but that frustration soon transformed into exhilaration as God illuminated His Word to me once again. This book is the fruit of that journey. What is more powerful an economic vote or a political vote? @BrianDeMint makes another great point, economic votes are much more powerful than political votes. If you vote for the losing candidate, your vote means nothing the day after the election. But when you vote with your money, by buying or not buying a certain thing, it has real world impact. What can be more impactful than opting out and voting with your dollars for bitcoin? Every dollar that gets traded for bitcoin, is 1 vote for bitcoin and -1 votes for fiat. Opt-out....
