I've been binging this churches sermons. They don't sugarcoat it, they don't try to guilt trip you, it's just solid preaching. I prefer the main pastors preaching but the guest preachers are pretty good too. This series on the books of James is just really good and has me reading through it. Let me know what you think

GM Paid some tithes for the 1st time in BTC. I've hodled it like scrooge/gollum for so long. God put it on my heart for a while now to part with some of it. I did more than the amount that was on my heart because I feel like I owed back payments for putting it off for so long (I was raised with a guilty conscious and feel like I need to make up for stuff when I don't fix things right away). It was a decent amount to me and it honestly felt so good parting ways with it and like a weight has lifted off my shoulders some. This is probably a trivial confession of sorts, but to me was/is a big deal. I honestly feel like that God has been hitting me with things in my heart that I need to address that I have put before him for a while. I live a really blessed life already, but I'm trying to get to that abundant life that's possible through Christ. John 10:7-10 NKJV 7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came [a]before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.
