"For decades, dollar dependency created a classic prisoner's dilemma for sanctioned states: continue using the dollar-denominated system (and remain exposed to US financial weaponry), or exit the system and face the economic isolation that follows. Both choices led to bad outcomes. Exit was severely punished and compliance was exploited. There was no dominant strategy but only varying degrees of submission. Until now, thanks to Bitcoin." @Kudzai Kutukwa
Very interesting that it's always the rogue states or "criminals" that are usually quick to catch on when it comes to technological innovations. The drug dealers got to Bitcoin before the mom and pop stores, and it was the racketeers that found utility in cellphones before the average Joe. Necessity is the mother of invention after all.

Scam Altman says he wants to sell you "intelligence" like a utility. Of course it's a free market, you can buy from him if you so choose but the model he is describing here sounds very familiar to the creature from Jekyll Island that was created in 1913. That's one of the reasons why they are spreading the narrative of AI is going to take all the jobs; when in reality creative destruction is the path of all technological advancements. That said, what these ghouls are building is INTENDED to destroy jobs in the name of efficiency & centralize control of information online, while dumbing you down to be unable to have a single thought without consulting ChatGPT or Grok. Then you will be told to get an AI chip in your brain to make you "more competitive in the market", without which you will be stuck on UBI eating gvt cheese.
Most people are trained slaves with no desire for true liberty. Freedom is not easy to obtain and is even harder to maintain that's why they shy away from it and would rather crawl into a voting booth every four years to vote for a politician that they know will not deliver on at least half what he is promising, while secretly hoping that he will make their lives better nonetheless.
The uncomfortable reality is that there is no freedom without responsibility, in the same way that slavery requires dependency. We have lost our privacy in the modern age because we made ourselves dependents of the tech demons and their companies. The PATRIOT Act and FISA courts are both unconstitutional and immoral but they continue to exist because the chains of slavery have lulled us into a false sense of security and comfort. There is no security or freedom for that matter without privacy.
Good morning Nostr! Pura Vida ๐

"The real question is not whether humanity can engineer better money. We already have. The real question is whether the capacity to build still survives beneath the scar tissue of fiat thinking, short-termism, and performative hustle. Whether somewhere beneath the algorithmically managed personalities and dopamine economies, there still exists a builder. A true craftsman immune to the virtue signaling bug."
Very deep and introspective piece @Kudzai Kutukwa ๐๐ป๐

There's nothing I can't stand more than hypocrites!
Evil prevails when good men do nothing. The world we are living in today is mostly as a result of people who knew what was right and didn't do it. Food for thought.

Great article ๐ Digital IDs are going to strip folk of the little privacy they still have left and if they aren't challenged, things will get to a point where you will not be able to register a business, enrol your child in school, receive medical treatment if you don't have a digital ID. During the pandemic they already tested this out and the gvt already knows most people will comply in order to be comfortable.
