Building with #Bitcoin? Let’s break down some testing environments: Regtest - local test environment where you control everything (bitcoind, btcd) Testnet - shared test env that closely resembles bitcoin mainnet (bitcoind, btcd) Signet - shared test env similar to Testnet, but smaller and more centralized (bitcoind) Simnet - local test env (btcd) MutinyNet - a custom signet (requires a fork of bitcoind, supported on Voltage nodes) The diff between Simnet and Signet seems to confuse everyone 😅 Hope this helps! image
Bitcoin and Lightning in 10 years predictions??? The fedimint and LSP combo that Mutiny Wallet implemented seems promising. Also the Breez and LDK LSPs will be huge too. Also, stablecoins on Lightning could cause explosive growth! Bitcoin is already the easiest way to do global payments for new apps. Every year this becomes more true.
Do you all have favorite ways to mint Testnet ordinal collections? We're struggling a bit with the ordinalsbot UI 🤖 Maybe you all just mint testnet collections with the API? Any thoughts would be most appreciated 🙏
